IRCopoly is a text based network game played via Internet Relay Chat. It is being developed using the Perl language and the Perl Object Environment set of libraries and modules.

Game play is based on the classic board game we have all played in the past: Monopoly(TM). Due to copyright restrictions and laws, the names of the spaces on the board have been renamed to reflect on the Internet Community. The updated board can be viewed here.
